PHOENICIAN SECRETS reminds me in its colors and pattern of something related to the ancient people of the Phoenicians. Its best colors emerge with relatively cool nights which are often those of the beginning of the season when the plant starts to bloom early. On those mornings they then open flowers of a brick red color with an almost purple eye, often with a bluish color reflection. The elaborate golden yellow throat emphasizes everything adding charm to the colors. In case the nights are warmer or even torrid, as unfortunately happens in these last summers the colors start already noticeably faded or flattened on shades of hazelnut.
Fertile both ways.
