*SCOTT BENNETT (Morss, 2005)
(Crossing rather complex involving uppermost Edge, Linda Daniel, Fantasy Finish and numerous seedlings and intermediate)
Height 71 cm, Ev, Em, Emo, Re, Ext, flower 16.5 cm.
SCOTT BENNETT is one of the most important and unavailablea hybrid in recent years: in 2005 when it was introduced on the market, there were only 5 plants. The combination of colors is fantastic and intriguing, almost unique, the shape of the flower very nice not to mention the double or triple jagged edge and finely decorated. A flower that has to be seen live to be appreciated properly. Another important feature is the persistence of the flower even in the bitter temperatures with a beauty that remains unchanged (or even enriched by the veins of color produced by the rays of the sun) until the last hours of light. A true masterpiece. In 2007 I used a lot of pollen Scott Bennett getting many seeds and I look forward to the day when the new plants will flourish. Even in 2008 I used a lot of pollen Scott Bennet but with smaller percentages of seeds, perhaps for a period concurrent hot. The plant, unfortunately, is one of most slow increaser I grow in my garden so it is frequently sold out..
Very very fertile both ways and great parent to pass the double edge.
