PURE INDULGENCE is one cultivar that I found to be important after speaking with several Americans hybridizers. Maybe at this moment one of the best reds, certainly the most widely used in hybridization with purple, blacks, purples and reds themselves. This cultivar pass easily to its kid: good branching and high bud count, colors and great quality of the flower. Many new varieties in this range of colors were obtained with Pure Indulgence as a parent.
Fertile both ways.
