JAMAICAN MIDNIGHT differs from many other "blacks" for the compact habit, and low for good resistance to sunlight, so much so that I have placed in the forefront of my border of daylilies. The flower is very special for the velvety texture, the color associated very black that the first morning show really attractive.
Fertile both ways.
