LACY LUCY attracted me since the first time I saw it in the garden of Phil Reilly. It was alone, with only a flower opening in that day but my idea was that only one cultivar was enough to make a garden with a flower like this.Lacy Lucy is a spectacular one, with intriguing flowers, sometimes monster like form and size but at the same time elegant and hard to not observe. The eye color seem to be re-marked by a second brush paint. In my garden it was a great performer from the first blooming year and I used it a lot hoping to capture size and form and pass it on all the other color combinations.
Fertile both ways.
