MALACHITE PRISM differs from many other cultivars to the form and especially the eye distinctly triangular and the wide bright green throat clearly visible even from medium distances. Plant very vigorous and reblooming evergreen (Northern Europe grower recommended a minimum level of protection in areas with very cold winters), is used frequently by hybrid to try to pass on to the offspring its flower characters. Many hybrids derived from malachite prism have already been registered as new varieties and have gorges with green eyes and triangular.
Fertile both ways.
