Height 76 cm, M, Re, Vfr, Emo, Ev, Flower 13 cm.
DAKAR is one of the closest to black that I know. The color of the flower, seems to benefit from extremely hot and sunny. In these conditions it becomes dark purple and almost black, especially important not to show any signs of sunburn. Conversely following low temperatures the flower tends to give a dark chocolate color with a purple inner ring. In my garden rarely this happen but I know of many gardeners in northern Europe that have this problem closed to wet and low temperatures summer. The board then is to put the plant well exposed to the sun and, in typical summer day the flower will give satisfaction.
Fertile both ways and a good parent, especially for dark colors.
