DOYLE PIERCE is an excellent cultivar with regard to the color (mauve violet hard to describe and even to evaluate live are so rich in reflections) and the power in crossing (already recorded several new cultivars have been obtained using Doyle Pierce). Of course I am also very good characteristics such as plant habit, vigor, flowering, the 'opening of the flower ... etc.
Fertile both ways and very, very special parent, not only for the colors mauve, pink, purple, but for new colors and even unusual shapes. It can also be used for "adventurous crossings ".
