*HAPPY APACHE (Hansen, D. 2001)
(Roses in Snow) X (Calgary Stampede x Alexandra)
HAPPY APACHE is an unusual flower, shape can vary from day to day and depending on the flowering period, so some flowers at the beginning of the season seem typical of a "full" while the other end of the season look more forms " spiders. " What does not change is the beauty of the red, with a gloss "metallic." Often there is a clear edge more or less wide. The plant is extremely vigorous and, although it is stated in official terms as "semi evergreen" (Sev) in my experience is fully evergreen. Some collectors of northern Europe suggest a degree of protection in areas subject to very harsh winters.
The pollen is fertile while the 'ovary is able to obtain seeds very rarely.
