The first year of this website was a great success in terms of contacts and appreciation, were far above my most optimistic expectations!

Great pleasure to see people visiting the gardens of different parts of Italy, just as pleased to receive visits by organized groups, associations and clubs for gardening, more and more.

Many requests and enthusiasm prompted me to increase the nursery activities to the reproduction of plants for sale with an increase in the physical, economic and time taken from the garden and the answers to many questions.



This new website has been added with several hundred of pictures, new sections and almost all the pages in english. I hope it will be of great help for foreigner visitors and customers! Apologize for mistakes and not correct word in english but thank you to all that will let me know.
 



 I continue my gardening activities with increase the variety of plant collections of ornamental grasses, varietal testing, tests of association and combination, and kept to the top the daylily collection by new arrivals the best varieties in the world. The hybridization of the latter, then, is beginning to give the first results of great interest to which it shall be checked on the actual goodness of the selected plants, although the emotions received from the first flowers of my new hybrids not need for further tests as they are now a genuine reason for living!



So much work, then, is that in the garden at the organizational level but also a lot of personal satisfactions, direct and/or indirect by e-mails and telephone. This is of great encouragement to me and is one of the reasons that push to continue and enhance a passion become a job, so e-mail my again to talk about gardening, dayliles, seedlings and so on!!

First welcome message 2007, september

Welcome to my garden located in the region of Romagna in Northern Italy. Landscaping my garden has been an emotional journey for me, arranging plant materials like artwork, seeking to create beautiful changes almost on a daily basis. A challenge to display nature at its best. The most important collections I have acquired to date have been maple trees, liquidambar and hemerocallis. I also appreciate the beauty of ornamental grasses.

My interest in hemerocallis has taken me long distances in search of modern cultivars. I now grow more than 560 varieties. The results of my hybridizing these past years is a collection I can proudly admit has absolute innovations, and I continue to seek the highest achievements each year. It has been very rewarding. 

I presently grow hundreds of Acer and have 20 different Liquidambar styraciflua (Sweet Gum tree) varieties that all exhibit striking Fall colors with beautiful leaf markings.

 I would enjoy sharing the fascination and beauty of plants with anyone who is interested.
